Hi Dennis, saw your post on the Jack-It bike rack.  Just brought a 400 and was looking at the Jack-It rack.  Did the angle bar set up back toward the trailer not work for loading the trailer side bike? Saw you modified to go straight up from jack....why + how?

I purchased the Jack-it used and it had the straight up adapter with it. I was concerned with the clearance to the front window so I used the adapter initially. I abandoned the straight up adapter while it gave added window clearance it brought the bikes too close to my truck tailgate when making tight turns. I did shorten the angle adapter to give a bit more window clearance. It may have not been necessary but I have a welder and I can’t stop tinkering if I think I can improve upon a design. The Jack-it frame out was trimmed slightly to get a better fit on the A-frame and holes were drilled to allow the frame bolts to pass through for a very strong installation.
