Gator Egg--Well I'm stumped.  I have my TAB 400 insured through USAA.  When it is parked in the driveway it is covered under my homeowners insurance.  When hooked to my truck it is covered under my vehicle insurance.  All I can say is that there is a distinction between RV insurance and travel trailer insurance.  USAA doesnt do RV insurance but they do insure travel trailers.  Did you make sure they understand that you are asking about travel trailers?

USAA still says they don't write RV insurance.  Do you have a contact or phone number I can get in contact with the right person?  Thanks.

Hey, GatorEgg, when I called USAA 2-3 weeks ago about insuring my new [email protected], I was routed to a Progressive Insurance unit specifically for USAA members for insuring all types of rec vehicles.
I read elsewhere on here that USAA will cover the trailer if attached to your car, but I definitely wanted something in case of theft or vandalism where I’m storing mine.
      Hope this helps.
