Here’s the Empty Weight of 2020 T@B 400 BDL

I went to the CAT scales today with our 2020 T@B 400 BDL, (std refrigerator and solar pkg) empty, with the only addition being a full 20# propane tank.  Weighed the truck and trailer with each axle on separate platforms, then weighed the truck by itself in order to calculate the tongue weight.  Somewhat ironically, my T@B 400’s tongue weighs 400 pounds.  Trailer weight empty is 3000 pounds.

    Why do you say “ironically”?  Tongue weight should be 10 - 20% of trailer weight.  Looks like you’re right on the nose.

    Interesting that is doesn't really match what NuCamp is saying on their website.

    I think it’s remarkably close. There’s going to be some variation to the scales they used versus the CAT scales I used. The published dry weight doesn’t include options, which for me would be BDL package and the solar package. That puts the difference within 100 pounds, and I weighed without a full fresh water tank, which would have some effect on the tongue weight.

    37 lbs for the filled propane tank that is supplied by the dealer, so nüCamp would not include that weight either.
