@stro's Maiden Voyage
@stro made his camping debut over Labor Day weekend at Guilford Lake State Park, about 40 minutes south of us in Northeast Ohio. We camped with several friends and one of their RVs became "home base" for dining, socializing, campfires, etc., so we didn't do much setting up at our particular site.
Backing into the site took several tries but thankfully wasn't *too* entertaining for onlookers. Hitching, un-hitching, towing, set up, and tear down all went surprisingly smoothly, and the camper exceeded our expectations in every way.
The stock mattresses were very comfortable - I honestly slept better on them than my bed at home. The Cool Cat A/C worked flawlessly. We had enough fresh water for six quick (but hot) showers, though we did have to dump some gray water on the next-to-last day. The Norcold 2-way fridge kept everything cold - actually *too* cold when set to 4 (frozen milk and water bottles) - 3.5 seemed just right.
The most surprising thing of all: The T@B is *quiet* inside. With the windows and doors closed it's eerily silent. Even the bathroom is (mercifully) well isolated sound-wise from the rest of the camper.
Our one surprise: One night we turned on the fan (blowing out), opened the window over the kitchen counter about an two inches, and left about three inches of screen for ventilation. We woke up to find a few small spiders here and there and a LOT of baby spiders on the inside of the screen mesh. Granted, they may have made their way into the camper another way, but we're guessing they got in via the window or screen somehow. We have the factory-installed bug fuzz on ours, so we'll have to keep an eye on that situation.
Had we had any doubt we'd chosen the wrong camper for us (we didn't), it would have been alleviated after this first trip. We can't wait to camp again!

@jameskuzman congratulations on @astro’s maiden voyage. Sounds like the perfect trip! I’ve got a 2017 320S and love her more each trip. I regularly camp with a group of gals and we do the same “main gathering place” thing each evening. Interesting issue with the spiders but it sounds like you’re handling it well. Great pics and welcome to the Tab family!2017 T@B 320 Max S silver and cherry red, L@dybug ("Bug" aka my esc@pe pod), TV 2015 Toyota Highlander aka Big Red

Awesome! Glad to hear your first trip was a success. May it be the first of many more. I also am an Ohio camper. From the south west though.
