I'm looking for hardware to allow me to mount the Spare tire on the T@B Tongue, vertically across the tongue, in front of the LP Cover. I'm not finding what I'm looking for. I would greatly appreciate any help in pointing me toward this type hardware.

I saw a pictures of spare tire vertical mount on the tongue on this thread:

Hope this is what you are looking for. -
Thanks, R&D, I missed that because the title didn't seem to fit my interest. Guess I should browse more carefully.Gil Butler, Folsom, CA, 2015 T@B M@XX CS - White with Yellow tim

When folks mount it accross the tongue, they fasten the bracket to the wheel jack and use "U" bolts rather than the supplied bolts and mounting plate.

Find a good welder in your area Gil and have him fabricate a solid mount, welded to the frame. ETrailer.com has an assorted of mounts too.Mike - Elmira, Mi / 2019 T@B 400 / 2021 Chevy Silverado LTZ

MAWebb was describing my setup. This is what it looks like. The last picture is not mine, but what I would like mine to look like eventually.Allie

Thanks, Allie. Mine now looks much like yours now, but our trim is yellow.
My spare was off because the nuts securing it came loose. One was missing by the time I noticed far from home. After encountering substantial problems trying to return the spare to the under-trailer mount, I decided to Follow your decision. Now, without crawling under the trailer, I can get the spare, check it's mounting hardware and pressure, and have a place for any wheel replaced by the spare. This also gives more clearance under the rear of the trailer, although that wasn't really a significant concern to me.Gil Butler, Folsom, CA, 2015 T@B M@XX CS - White with Yellow tim -
Hi Gil, I had come across this which looks promising and sounds like what you're also looking to fit.

I instead went with a traditional side mount although I am still interested in this one. After an upcoming trip though I would want to put the tire back under the T@B.2006 Dutchman T@B T16, 2010 Volvo XC90 3.2 R-Design
