Towel Holders

These are handy towel holders for the trailer and I even have one in my kitchen here in the house.   There is however a slight downside to these towel holders as they are a bit sloppy in their mounting ability and I noticed that mine do come loose from time to time after opening and closing doors and drawers.  There is an easy fix to this and if you take a set of channel lock pliers, adjust them to approximately the same width as the hanger end you can apply some pressure and bend the short end of the hanger arm in toward the other side.  This will allow you to re-install the towel hanger over the cupboard door or a drawer and snug it up enough so that it grips the door/drawer tightly and remains in place.  You might have to repeat this process a couple of times to get the right angle and pressure on the hanger arm, but it does make a huge difference and will allow you to take a towel off the rack without disturbing the towel holder.

I have a towel holder that I got from Bed, Bath and Beyond.  It has a rubber backing on the hook, so it stays in place pretty well.  It does occasionally travel back and forth, but it has never popped off when I have opened the cabinet doors, nor during travel.

States the T@Bpole has camped, so far ;)

That's where I got my towel holder, Bed, Bugs & Beyond.....  Use the tip above and eliminate the travel with these towel holders.

I put a square of double-sided tape under each hook. They stay put now. Before I'd sometimes find them on the floor after towing anywhere.

Prior to our 2nd trip out in the T@B, I installed a small spring rod above the door to hold 2 rolls of paper towels (side by side).  Also, I added a nicer spring rod in the bath to hold 2 bath towels and wash cloths.  These worked great for drying / storage of towels.  Did have to remove them for shower usage.

One of the things that bothered me most on my first outing with my T@B 320 was where to put the towels (paper and cloth), so I've been going through the discussions and looking online.  I found this towel rack on Amazon.  It just rests over the top of the cabinet door (the hooks are lined with a rubber-like material to avoid marring the surface).  Paper towels go on one side (I have them facing into the cabinet and dish towels hang on the outside.  I am very pleased!

I paid $11 on Amazon yesterday, today it is $13.

Paper towels on the other side:

The rack just sits on the cabinet door.  No installation needed.
