350 watt solar 200 ah lithium battery install on 2017 CS

I just finished a big mod. 2 x 175 watt Renogy solar panels on the roof, with a 200 amp hr lithium battery under the bed. I left the existing group 31 wet cell battery on the tongue, and can run my DC electrical off or either battery. I am hopeful that this will meet my electrical needs, since I have the 2 way fridge, and a cpap machine, and mostly boondock.

@masnpip Yup, that's a perfectly sized system for the CS. What brand battery? (the pics have to be scaled small because a lot of us boondock with no WiFi and sometimes only 2G or 3G cell service... so with the 800x600 pixel restriction we can all still read the threads even in the middle of BLM nowhere).

@DougH, ah, that makes sense about the picture size. I will try to figure out how to do that later today. Emailing them to myself did not work. The battery is a SOK. So far, it seems like a nicely built battery!2017 T@b CS

Just returned from 9 days boondocks for in the badlands and black hills. The solar/battery setup worked perfectly! I even cooked my black fridge door in the sun a few times (I have a CS), and the solar kept the battery charged up like a charm. I finally figured out how to resize the pics to post

These adhesive zip tie mounts work pretty good for managing the thick solar wires on the roof...

Oooh, thanks for the tips! Reflectix might help the fridge a lot, and those adhesive zip tie mounts look perfect. Thanks folks!2017 T@b CS
