T@B Outback based in Borrego Springs and CA DMV question

We bought an outback in December and based it at our house in Borrego Springs located in Anza Borrego Desert State Park.  Been out seven nights so far.  My wife is going to take a shot at registering it with the CA DMV tomorrow.  I found a post or two on the forum indicating that the T@B is short enough and narrow enough that it qualifies for a simple and inexpensive category.  I'm sending her in with the title, VIN, photos, and that earlier post citing dimensions and CA vehicle code.  Any other advice out there?  Thanks.
