Solar and winter

I had my 2021 covered (came with the sale) but it ripped when we were putting it on. No biggy, left as is. A squall went through Gunnison yesterday and the cover was toast. High winds ripped it off, would have blown away if I hadn't used NRS straps to secure it to the stabalizers. At any rate......now its in the elements for the winter. Should I be concerned about the solar panel? The wind will probably blow off any snow/ice in the next 6 months.

I would not be concerned at all. Solar panels are very durable and it does not take much sun to melt off snow and ice. We keep ours covered here in Leadville but I always use a push broom and step ladder to clear the snow off. If you can I would also clear off the snow if you get more than a couple of inches.2021 T@b 400 BD "Vixen Gail"
