@pthomas745, we’ve ordered the part and are awaiting delivery. It looks like the check valve lives under the bed on the back of the nautilus panel. It looks like a tight space but doable. I’ll let you know!

@pthomas745, removal of the old check valve was a little tedious.

We unscrewed the tubing fitting (under the bed) that was connected to the old check valve.

Tip: pay close attention to how the old “u”-shaped black plastic piece (as shown above) that holds the check-valve in place is installed. You’ll need to install the new one the same way.

It was a little challenging to pull out the “u”-shaped black plastic piece out as it was snapped in very tightly. We used a small flat head screwdriver and a pair of needle nose players to pry/snap it out/off. It took some trial and error. Once that piece was removed, the whole check-valve assembly was easily removed.

We then inserted the new check-valve assembly in the hole from outside.

The next trick was to install the new “u”-shaped black plastic piece on to the new check-valve assembly. Bob discovered that he had to rotate the check-valve to find the “sweet spot” where the “u”-shaped black plastic piece fit and snapped into place.

This should be a 5-min job but the tedious location and inability to see how the “u” shaped clip was connected to the check-valve caused it to take us about 30 minutes.

And yours is a 2021 400, correct?

@pthomas745, yes. We installed it on our 2021 Tab 400 Boondock with the P3 Nautilus system.

@pthomas745, we’ll, there is a postscript. When we checked for leaks, we found one at the connector to the check valve. Turns out the connector black rubber bushing came out with the old check valve. We took the connector apart and reinstalled a bushing. Checked again for leaks. Dry as a bone.
