Got my tow vehicle charging finally operational. I put a 2-conductor #4AWG "truck" plug on the front edge of the front platform.

I put a mating one on the back of the tow vehicle (with some selective cutting and finagling) under the trailer plug. Used #4AWG cable from the truck battery with an 80A fuse all the way back to the plug.

Bought an oversized #4AWG "trucker" coil cable to use between. I will make a lift-clip to attach to the small rod around the platform to give it some support mid-coil. There's plenty of coil stretch (almost too much) for turning, etc.

Inside the camper is one of these going to the main battery bank via large bus-bar. Will have a future post about the entire electrical system.

With the truck just at idle, I get 33A going into the batteries! Should be able to use this while driving
*AND* the 400W of solar on the roof (at the same time), while on the road, to quickly get the batteries back up.
