We have a 2018 NuCamp trailer pulled by a RAV4 Adventure, and would like to be better equipped to deal with a flat tire while traveling.
Do people recommend carrying just a pressurized can sealant, or a more expensive tire sealant kit, which combines a portable 12-volt air compressor and a replaceable container of sealant (such as the Consumer Reports recommended "airMan ResQ Pro +") ?

my tow vehicle has a dual motor compressor mounted under the front passenger seat…expensive, from my rock climbing days.

Get a replacement tire or flat fix at next large town.
In decades of driving I've had at least five flats . . . only one (a slow leak) could be fixed with a plug or fancy seal can, all the others had such damage that a replacement tire was required.
IMHO the likelihood that a seal can, etc will get you on the road again is low.

Just like @donmontalvo I carry a tire repair kit and an air compressor in my Jeep (standard equipment if you go off the beaten path), I only use the sealant stuff on my garden tractor ...
