Hello Nu Campers!
We just acquired a 2022 T@B 320 Boondock and we're looking for recommendations for coupler locks from those who actually have one that fits and they they're happy with.
Anyone?

We use this Master Lock set. Keyed the same for the coupler lock, receiver lock and latch lock. https://www.amazon.com/dp/B000VSY4HG?ref_=ppx_hzsearch_conn_dt_b_fed_asin_title_3
We supplement it with a wheel lock (like a giant claw) and a set of lug nut wheel locks. 5 yrs, 65k miles no problems. But we normally stay at state parks and COE campgrounds.2018 TAB 320S

I have one of these (discontinued): https://www.amazon.com/dp/B01MXY85E4. If you want something (significantly) sturdier, have a look at Proven Industries. https://www.provenlocks.com/collections/2-trailer-coupler-locks. You will need to confirm which coupler style you have.2018 NuCamp T@B 400

I will 2nd Junflerich recommendation of the Proven Industries. https://www.provenlocks.com/collections/2-trailer-coupler-locks. I am using model 2178-A. Its a Beast! But when we leave the camp site, we feel we will be seeing our T@B when we get back.Option if your so inclined: If you buy your receiver hitch lock/ball mount lock and your Coupler Puck Lock at the same time they can be ordered keyed alike. Always nice to have fewer keys on the key ring.

This is a harder decision than it should be. If someone wants your trailer bad enough, they're going to get it no matter the coupler lock in place.
rcarlson1957 I like the low spend for your lock.
junglerichUSSBird I like the rock solid security of yours.
I think that pretty much any coupler lock will deter an opportunistic thief in a relatively low crime area, and that there is no coupler lock that will stop a committed thief: They'll just throw some straps around the a-frame of the coupler and drag the unit to a place where they can work on the high security coupler lock more privately.
If this were a money's no object decision, I'd go with the Proven Industries lock, but I think - in my case- I'm better off with the lower-cost Master Lock and putting the saved money into a length of grade 70 chain and a high quality padlock chaining the T@B to a nearby tree or an anchor bolted into the driveway concrete. This will add one more layer of defense for thieves to overcome, which means more time to steal.
Thank you all for your feedback! -
@rcarlson1957 before I posted this question I had ordered a Master Lock like yours but it didn't fit. They must make more than one size. I decided to go with this lock instead, largely because I know it will fit, it seems like a good design and it's priced right at about $55 and it has a 4.5 rating with more than 4100 ratings.

That's reassuring! Thanks for chiming in.Binghi said:That’s the one I use. I like it. -
I have one made by Proven Industries. It fits great and it helps prevent thieves from using the safety chains to drag off your trailer. It was expensive, but extremely heavy. So heavy, that I am reluctant to bring it along on trips when I don't expect to have to unhook the tow vehicle. I have a coupler lock and a locking hitch pin keyed to the same key.HardFault said:We just acquired a 2022 T@B 320 Boondock and we're looking for recommendations for coupler locks from those who actually have one that fits and they they're happy with.Adventure Cats living in the Pacific NW USA

I have 2 coupler locks:The Blockhead https://www.campingworld.com/deadbolt-ct-johnson-blockhead-trailer-coupler-lock-1-78-and-2-49068.html?utm_source=google&utm_medium=cpc&utm_campaign=%7BCampaign%7D&cq_cmp=22330213901&cq_con=176591302695&cq_term=&cq_plac=&cq_net=g&cq_plt=gp&gclsrc=aw.ds&gad_source=1&gad_campaignid=22330213901&gbraid=0AAAAAD_wfq-wvM0i3-brY-zALdqLA8NSa&gclid=EAIaIQobChMI-aPu05-lkAMVU87CBB3MQQLhEAQYAiABEgJlH_D_BwE
And the MasterLock https://store.masterlock.com/collections/trailers-towing/products/377dat
The MasterLock is definitely beefier but has the downsides of needing to leave the coupler open and the locking bar is visible/attackable. I found that when it’s stored for awhile having the coupler open causes it to stick a little. The Blockhead is lighter but the way it covers the coupler rim and makes the locking mechanism covered actually feels more secure.I combine this with a combination lock for the coupler release and for the hitch pin.https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0BBRKH1KB?ref=ppx_pop_mob_ap_share

As others have said none of these will prevent a determined thief with an angle grinder from taking your trailer but I feel the combination of all three is an adequate deterrent.
