Tableware

GSI or Melamine? I faithfully recycle; however, I want to be frugal when it comes to spending on plates, etc. Definetly have to have a safe hot beverage mug. The weather is terrible here but we are going to catch a break and do a test overnite. Please allow me to thank you for your help!

target always has melamine dishes. cute styles and colors and I look for their sales.
Also crate and barrel often has some higher quality dishes.

I went with the old school enamelware plates and cups. Something like this...

I use real plates and bowls that I bought at a second-hand store. I have real coffee mugs.  I also have two enamelware plates with mugs.  Nothing broken in five years.image
