I just replaced the crank with if I remember a 1/2” bolt. Just pop off the top cover for access. I think it was a 6” bolt. I cut off the thread. Then I drilled a small hole in it to match the crank handle. If you are not good with tools. Ask a friend or neighbor. Good luck

  @BrianZ We did have a leaking water control valve. The toilet could slowly fill and overflow if not checked. Since we were hooked to city water I had to keep turning it off and on until I was able to…

  @Maryperry1 get a #2 square bit at any hardware store. Be careful not to over tighten screws when installing new parts. That quote was outrageous.
