I just replaced the crank with if I remember a 1/2” bolt. Just pop off the top cover for access. I think it was a 6” bolt. I cut off the thread. Then I drilled a small hole in it to match the crank handle. If you are not good with tools. Ask a friend or neighbor. Good luck

  Our T@B has everything our 40' Winnabago had except a fireplace so to me it's an RV a tent is camping. IMHO

  If it were an igniter problem then the pilot would not light. You stated the pilot stays lit as long as you hold the red button in.

  I would replace the thermalcoupler. It is the little thing stands in the middle of the pilot flame. They have a limited life span. They control the gas flow.
