I just replaced the crank with if I remember a 1/2” bolt. Just pop off the top cover for access. I think it was a 6” bolt. I cut off the thread. Then I drilled a small hole in it to match the crank handle. If you are not good with tools. Ask a friend or neighbor. Good luck

  If the pilot lights and stays on as long as you hold the red button in, at least 30 seconds and then goes out when you release it. It's good bet it is the thermocouple. The flame heats up the TC…

  I would replace the thermalcoupler. It is the little thing stands in the middle of the pilot flame. They have a limited life span. They control the gas flow.

  The cheap RV faucets can be easily replaced with better quality residential units from any big box store like Home Depot. The variety is almost endless.
