I just replaced the crank with if I remember a 1/2” bolt. Just pop off the top cover for access. I think it was a 6” bolt. I cut off the thread. Then I drilled a small hole in it to match the crank handle. If you are not good with tools. Ask a friend or neighbor. Good luck

  There is a product at Walmart in the RV/ auto department called amazing Goop. It's a great adhesive and is weatherproof very long lasting. It stays simi flexible, better than Silicone.

  Smaller diameter wheels and tires or wheels only seems to be about the only solution. Last time I checked garage door stretchers were out of stock on Amazon.

  Don't use special RV TP. We use tha same as we use at home and have for years in many different RVs.

  I believe the standard factory vent cover when closed is low enough. The problem is if you have added the much taller cover that allows you keep vent open if it rains.
