I just replaced the crank with if I remember a 1/2” bolt. Just pop off the top cover for access. I think it was a 6” bolt. I cut off the thread. Then I drilled a small hole in it to match the crank handle. If you are not good with tools. Ask a friend or neighbor. Good luck

  stabilizing jacks operate in an arc. Once they touch the ground they continue to move horizontaly. Not good. That applies lateral stress as well as vertical. Lifting jacks only move vertically.
