we have a 6 cyl Tacoma, 6500lbs towing capacity, and it's "OK" over our 10K passes...ya just gotta take it slow. If we were in a hurry we'd take a plane...;-) -

I ended up making my own shims, mounting them on a 12"x36" piece of 3/4 ply, putting anti-skid stair tread on the bottom...all to hold a plastic auto ramp (I like the race ramps...but $$$!)… -

Boo...what kind of scissor jack did you get? I see a lot of cheapies out there. And what kind of tongue mount? In the meantime I may just put the spare on the roof racks of mytruck cap...
