This just happened to me and it was because the fresh water tank drain valve under the stair was open...I thought I was filling the tank...and it was all draining out! Thus sputter. -

oh yeah! I live in Portland Oregon....Bought from RBYoung and just found out Apache is a few miles down the road....I'm taking her in Wed, for a trip Friday am.
