It really depends on which external panels you use. Some have controllers built in, some don't. That would dictate how it's wired to the battery, with our without an additional controller.… -

On my 2018 400 they appear to be installed through the wall of the tank, with metal buttons on the inside that do the sensing. -

Has anybody tried sealing the stitching seams on the Isabella to make it waterproof, or at least water resistant? It looks like a great design, but here in the PNW, we need a rain shelter.
