I suspect NuCamp recommends blowout before antifreeze to ensure the antifreeze doesn’t get too diluted. Prior to the Nautilus implementation, antifreeze was optional. -

On my 2018 400 they appear to be installed through the wall of the tank, with metal buttons on the inside that do the sensing. -

I'm seeing another benefit of having a weight distribution hitch. I go through the ball pull up process every time I hook up the WDH bars. -

The other benefit of the Exped is that it's much lighter than memory foam, making getting under the bed much easier.
