If you backed into a spot, try pulling forward even just a few inches before trying to uncouple. This can relieve some of the pressure on the hitch, allowing the coupler to open.  (View Post)

I think that would work. I keep a bag of zip ties in the trailer. They’re useful for all sorts of things including pulling up chains.  (View Post)
