We use paper plates with a melamine plate underneath to add strength. Really simplifies cleanup, helps keep the gray tank clean and reduces water use. -

@deuce - are you using a pressure regulator? If not, you may be seeing a leak at the coupling of the city water connection just behind the city water port.
