Toyota Fuel Pump Recall

Anyone towing with a newer Toyota model? Be aware of the most recent recall for 1.8 million Toyota and Lexus models to replace faulty fuel pumps that my leave your vehicle stalling at speed and possibly causing a crash. My 2018 Sienna will be recalled. Fortunately I tow with a Honda Ridgeline. With that many cars being recalled and the fact that they don't even have a fix yet, I suspect it might be a couple of years before they get them all fixed. I parked the Sienna and won't be driving it until Toyota comes out with more information. Had a 2016 Ram pickup that stalled at 60 mph on the highway. A message came up on the dash that read "put shifter in park and restart engine" not a good idea at 60 mph.

If your vehicle is covered by this recall, definitely get it fixed asap. I had a VW Cabriolet that nearly killed me when the fuel pump malfunctioned on a freeway.San Francisco Bay Area
