Tab 400 fold up sink drain

How do I remove the drain plug from the fold up sink in the bathroom on my 2019 TAB 400?

I had the same thing happen when mine was new. I couldn't get the plug out of the tiny space.  nuCamp replaced the sink with the new square style under warranty.

There may be a way to get it out, but I was unable to do it.

Ours just pulls out with a good tug, and pops back in.
