A/C question re: installed model

Hi all...  Just picked up my T@B CS Max today, and during the walkthrough the A/C would not blow.  This was the digital unit mounted near the floor with the remote.  While we were doing paperwork and getting accessories, the maintenance boys switched out the unit.  However, instead of an exact replacement, they put in a non-digital unit that doesn't fill the original space.  Somewhat perturbed that nothing was said to us about the switch; only discovered because I asked sales rep to walk me through the A/C demo again with the working model.

Plus side is there's room for the air to move around the sides, but this clearly isn't the appropriate stock item.  How much push back should I be giving on getting the original brand/model replacement?

That's between you and your dealer. If you have a good relationship, then you should be able to discuss the swap out. If you're not happy, the only way he will know is if you tell him.

I agree with Verna's comments above, they should be able to resolve this issue for you via the dealer and the factory can get you an original unit to fit the opening if you would prefer to have it.  Either that or ask that the opening be refurbished to match the installed unit.

Thanks all.  The sales rep did say if we weren't happy to bring it back and they'd make it right.  We're going to see how this one works, may be a whole lot of fuss for nothing.
