Electric Tongue Jack

We had an electric tongue jack installed on our 2022 CS-S before picking it up yesterday.  It appears that it was wired directly to the battery which means it still operates even when the battery disconnect switch is in the off position.  On our previous Geo Pro, the electric tongue jack must have been wired through the disconnect switch because when the battery was disconnected, the jack would not operate (no power). 

Does anyone know if there is any paralytic draw from the current electric tongue jack?  If so, would I need to tie into the wiring going into the battery disconnect switch?

    As with any electrical device there should be a fuse.  If not, you need to install one.  Then if concerned about parasitic draw, just pull fuse.

    It was installed with a line fuse but I didn't want to have to unscrew the housing every time to remove the fuse.  I moved it from the battery to the disconnect switch.  Problem solved.
