I picked up a used 2006 T@B which is manufactured by Thor and uses Al-Ko mechanical surge brake. I noticed that from day one any time I brake my TV (2014 F150) relatively hard I feel a rather loud clunk inside the truck. I have suspicion that it's due to issue on surge brake for T@B needing an adjustment or something is wrong with surge brake component. I am having hard time locating a shop that is experienced with Al-Ko mech surge brake. Anyone have similar experience with TV "clunking" when ever braking hard while towing T@B with surge brake setup? Mind sharing how to diagnose or what I should check for? Thanks in advance. BTW to eliminate the slop between hitch receiver and trailer hitch ball mount I have installed Road master Quiet Hitch. This part did not help with the clunk issue when braking at all.
