Magnetic Strip on Kitchen Wall

I have these magnetic spice containers from IKEA but my T@B kitchen walls are not magnetic. Has anyone ever put a peel and stick magnetic strip on their wall? If so, which brand - and any special instructions? TIA!

Not on the wall, but I installed this one on top of my microwave to secure a metal tray that I use to transport food to/from the grill.  Perfect fit and has held up well for 2 years.
