Knoxville area camping!

Need help finding a site in the Knoxville, TN area. Looking for at least electric hookup, remote, hiking, in the mountains and not a trailer park setting. Any suggestions would be awesome!

Here is some information that should get you started.   I stayed in Elkmont Campground in the Great Smokey Mountains NP last August and it is a rustic, remote, beautiful campground with great access, beautiful sites and you will definitely feel that you are in a remote setting.   None of the campgrounds in Smoky Mountain national Park have showers, but do have good restroom facilities.  This campground has hiking trails and is a place I would definitely camp in again as it was private and quiet.

Thanks! It doesn't look as though there is electric hookup and pets aren't allowed on trails. Bummer!

I know for sure that they don't allow pets on trails in any National Park and this is for safety reasons, as the pet becomes prey for the wildlife in the area and thus place others in danger.
