Outdoor Carpet

We have a vinyl outdoor carpet that we set out at each site. It is a few years old and now has some fold lines that won’t come out. I’ve laid the carpet on the driveway hoping the sun would allow the folds to flatten - no such luck. Rolling it might work, but that presents a storage and transportation problem. Can anyone offer suggestions as how to remove the folds ?

I roll my rugs and put them in a bag especially for them. https://www.amazon.com/Patio-Mat-Storage-Bag-Universal/dp/B075JY5YJT/ref=sr_1_5?crid=164JI1JWR2XHS&keywords=rv+mat+bag+for+9+x+18+mat&qid=1658621248&sprefix=rv+mat+bag,aps,86&sr=8-5

If laying on a driveway in the sun won't do it, my next step would be to try a heat gun - but that's a pretty high risk endeavor that will probably result in some singeing and melting. If the first few minutes having at the creases with a heat gun didn't yield satisfactory results, I'd probably give up and buy a new rug.Northern VA
