The collapsible tub and dish strainer were also found here on the forum. They work great, and fit under the fridge without blocking the vent. Another thanks to forum members.
All set up. It was over 100 degrees; an acid test for the air conditioner and fridge. Both performed well. The T@b came with the fan kit installed on both the A/C and fridge. I tested all the systems except for the heater. Everything worked well. I just couldn't bring myself to turn the heat on
Very nice mountain bike trails at Tyler State Park. They range from EZ to Challenging. Most of the riding is shaded trails that wind, climb, and descend through the trees.
I was there two weeks ago and am going back there next weekend! I live only 30 mins from Tyler SP. I camped there twice already. You might want to try Daingerfield SP also if you live in that area.
The rack on the rear of the trailer is my (Yakima) rack, mounted on factory installed tracks, pylons, and load bars. It is an S Maxx, no Outback upgrade. I already had the rack.
My TV is a Jeep Cherokee, not a Toureg, but from a distance our rigs certainly do look like twins, including the placement of the spare tire on the Yakima rack.
Spent the weekend at Tyler State Park. How do y'all deal with ants? I had a bunch coming inside the T@B. I just put some ant bates inside/outside the T@B. I'll check tomorrow and see if it helps.
Ants - About the only bug I haven't had yet. An old backpacker, long-time csmper told me you grind up peanuts to a real fine grain and lay it out either on a bound or their trail. They take it back to the nest and it kills them all. Evidently it's strychnine to ants.

Borax, Twenty Mule Team Borax in the laundry aisle at your local supermarket. Sprinkle it around and on the ants, they take it back to the nest and bye-bye nest. I carry a box of it when camping. And, ant baits should work, too.
I also keep some Raid spray handy if I get really, really mad at those little monsters!!
Don't even get me started on the two times my personal vehicle was invaded by thousands of ants.
Oh, and, Windex kills ants on contact, but the residue does not kill additional ants. It must be fresh, before the alcohol or whatever is used in it dissipates.

Thanks all for the info. I will try some methods next time I go there. The first site I tried to setup had just so many. They just started crawling on my legs right after I jumped off my truck (on the paved driveway). It was just terrible, so I moved to the next site. It was better, but I still got some on/in my T@B. It looks like they come get on it through the power cord (they like electricity/heat/black color?).
propus, I received my visor about 6 weeks after I ordered mine. Be patient, you'll get it and love it!

Arrived at Tyler State Park, Texas. Everything still attached
The Anderson Levelers were quick & easy to use. They were recommended by a forum member. Thanks!

This puts the bike on the car side of the hitch. I can unhook the trailer at camp, then take the bike to the trailhead.
I already had the rack.
