Light-filtering Shade for Stargazer Window

I look forward to night sky viewing through our new 400’s stargazer window, but I wasn’t satisfied with the daytime choices being limited to either blackout shade or direct sunlight. I stitched up a shade from light-filtering fabric and attached to the stargazer frame with two-sided Velcro tape. Command hooks and elastic loops let us roll the shade up and out of the way when we want the window open to the sky.

Hi,
Very nice. I’ve also made a cover for the fan to help darken the area when needed. It helps a lot. It’s not fancy but it works well. Held with Velcro for easy on/off
(Can’t get the picture to up load due to weak signal..will do later)
