Removing the Froli to gain a couple inches?

One of the first things we bought for our camper was a 3" (I think) foam mattress topper, which we then put on top of the 3 mattresses in our T@B 400.
It seems, though, one of the minor annoyances is that now, whoever (me) is stuck sleeping at the back of the camper, has nearly NO room to turn over or put my knees up without bumping the wall or the blind. I'm wondering if it would be worth it to remove the froli panels, put the 3 mattresses right on the base and put the foam on top of that. Further, of course, is the concern (unwarranted, I would expect in this case) that removing the froli panels might cause a problem down the line.
Any thoughts from the experienced folks here?

Besides the comfort that the Froli system provides, I believe it also acts as a vent for condensation and moisture that would naturally occur. I wouldn't remove it for this reason. Maybe replace your 3" with a 1". Or remove the lower cushions completely and go with a thicker mattress on the Froli?

Second the no Froli removal. Best comfort with least height may be Froli plus ExPed. See discussion: https://tab-rv.vanillacommunity.com/discussion/comment/191711#Comment_191711
