HOW DO YOU STORE YOUR T@B?

I want to purchase a new T@B but find it difficult to find a place to store it when not in use. I live in an apartment and all storage facilities that I have checked out only have units with 7 ft high doors which would NOT allow a T@B to fit. Any suggestions from others who live in Condo's, apartments or Town Homes on storing their T@B's?   Thanks

Try googling specific RV storage places. Some of them have large pole barns for storage that is under cover, but not necessarily enclosed.

Boat storage outfits also if you have any of those around.

I went to visit a friend in a "mobile Home Park" that didn't have actual mobile homes (trailers, but instead was filled with what are called manufactured homes (no wheels/towing capability). I noted that they had a large area dedicated to storing trailers, RVs, and boats.  I'm storing there at a price below the local area market.

Thanks for all the replies. I'll do some checking at local boat storage and RV facilities as suggested.

I rented a boat storage unit, it's a bit expensive but it keeps my T@B out of the weather and safe. There are other places that offer a parking spot but that is all you get in a fenced in area.

Lark...thanks for the tip about the other thread. It was very insightful. Being in an apartment like I am means having to rent an inside storage garage and I'm now wondering how I could protect "their" concrete if I use the smaller rims that are mentioned since there is a raised lip on the garage entry areas. I'm thinking this would fracture using the smaller rims without some type of cushioning provided. The rope wrapping trick you mentioned might help. I'll keep looking for possible remedies.      Thanks again.

Now here's a company that had some foresight. Back in the 70's Aristocrat trailers were offered with a special "lowering wheel" set for people who had to lower their trailers for storage in garages. A good welder could probably make these up for a nominal charge.
