Advice on screws slipping out of wall

Post our trip to AK some of the screws that anchor the molding/trim pieces (like the one immediately to the left of the door) can slide out with vibration. Has anyone come up with a good solution to get the screws to thread in and securely hold the trim in place again? I'm wonder if drilling out a bigger hole and gluing in a wooding dowel might work or if there are better solutions. It definitely seems like the screw holes in some cases have gotten wider with vibrations from the road working the screws.

How about filling with a little caulk and putting the screw back in. That seems to be what the factory does. Every few months I do a walk around and tighten them all up - haven't had any drop out yet.

This would work for the interior? Just any caulk will be fine? Is the core on the inside foam?

The insides of the walls are foam sandwiched between fiberglass on the outside and a wallboard on the inside. That's why it's recommended to not try to mount anything to the interior walls with screws but instead use Command Strips or something similar.
I carry a small tube of silicon caulk in my tool bag for that kind of thing. -
I've used barbecue skewers or toothpicks to reduce the hold and some glue on the wood before I put the screw back in. Seems to work. Other alternative I've used is a larger screw.

I use liquid nails, I squirt some into the hole and then screw in the screqw and when it dries you are all set. This method has worked well for me.

My glue is liquid nails as well.

Boo, do a search for "shoe goo". That's what you need for the exterior black rubber strips.Verna, Columbus, IN

I've not used Shoe Goo, but I am very familiar with Liquid Nails. I am repeating the advice of the more experienced T@B owners with their experiences with the black vinyl on the exterior.Verna, Columbus, IN

the slipping shower door magnet issue is totally annoying; picked up all the little pieces and then gorilla glued them. not ok! also, as the threads have noted, the little square screws coming lose is annoying. love hate.2016 Outback

I have used Shoe Goo (keep it in the T@B). Works great on the rubber strips, small dab and it will hold.

Bent in half toothpick and a little glue is what I use to give the interior trim screws something to bite into.

You all need to know about SUGRU....it's like a putty that hardens into rubber.

I use "GOOP" a clear glue found at home depot to glue in my black plastic strips.
