Wabble in TV

Does anyone have a suggestion for this? When towing my 2022 CS-S on the highway, at about 53-50 MPH I get a wabble in my truck and it  goes away after that speed. I have a 2023 F-150 3.5 EB 4x4. When I got the camper I drove a 2014 Tacoma 4x4 and it never happened with that truck.

Make sure the front is heavier than the back. You need about 200 to 250lb on the tongue. Adding bins to cover up the undercut front of the trailer helps a lot. Rounded bins on the ends is even better.

Are you talking about the the two small tubs on each side of the main tub up front?

Yes, a rounded tub on each end to make the edges round and cover the under-cut frontal area.

Check trailer ball, and coupler fit. Also, if a new truck, sometimes wheel weights are missing-check tire balance. We put new tires on our 320 and made sure they were balanced. Most places do not balance trailer tires.

make sure you have the correct tongue height when hitched to the new truck. does your new truck wabble at that speed with out the trailer?

Are you using an extended hitch?  Any hitch with pin-to-ball length greater than about 8" can exacerbate sway/wobble.

Are you referring to the dreaded death wobble that certain trucks exhibit?

My truck does not wobble at that speed without the camper, and my camper is level with the hitch. I either have to slow down to 50, or speed up to 60 to make it stop. I was also told that an Anderson hitch would make this stop, I have not looked into that yet?

If you are talking about anderson sway bar hitch, you might just try a hitch tightener from etrailer. I have one and it takes the noise out of the stop start with the trailer. I wonder since it is at a certain speed if all the tires on the tab and TV are balanced well along with good alignment.

I am going to get new tires put on and make sure they are balanced before I do anything else, thanks for all the tips, I'll let you know if that works.

Just curious, have you considered checking the wheel bearings? An intermittent vibration isn’t always an indication but it can be. Try checking the hub temperatures after experiencing the wobble. Or repack them and see if it continues.
