NuCamp has answered the call for all the owners who like the 360 , but want it in a clamshell model . They just announced the new 360CS model . Not many details released yet , but it looks like they moved the inside kitchen (which was to small anyway) , and moved it to the back clamshell style . Should make a lot of potential Nucamp buyers happy , that they once again, have the CS option . Hope they also offer it with a "black tank" option for those who dont care for the cassette toilet.
We are very happy with our 2024 400 , but interested in seeing what this 360 CS clamshell is all about. They must be listening to there customers !

More details from NuCamp to come soon ...........

    Hi,

We are also waiting and interested but only if the bed size is not reduced because of the clamshell.   Not sure how they would do that on the bathroom side..but maybe so.

There is a lot not to like:
    • Fridge is big and still on the interior. Away from the kitchen. Taking up what could be lovely front interior counter space.
    • Kitchen has no pass-through cabinets. This made it a great way to access snaaaaacks from inside.
    • Kitchen does not seem to have speakers. How am I supposed to rock out while cooking.
Let's hope this 360 CS design is a short-lived v1.0 that brings back the essentials that make the 320 CS such a fun trailer.

(Dear Nucamp, make the 360CS just like the 320CS but a little more interior height, and a little bit of width/length for the bed.)

Yes for the S also! I won't consider the giant fridge version

Looking for a photo of the added “convenient hatch door” that is in lieu of the pass-through cabinets on the 320 CS.

Saw inside photos and heard back from NuCamp that the twin beds are the same size as the non clamshell. No inside kitchen sink or stove but the tall fridge is still there. Back kitchen also has a 12 volt cooler.

  • It looks like that cheap bushwacker RV from the outside.  The 400 is really the only size nucamp should focus on because, most people who buy the 320, go to the 400 within a couple years.  The 360 is such a waste of their time and will probably fail within the first year.

Ughh.  I can live without the inside stove, but no inside sink might be a deal breaker.  Cooking outside is great, but not being able to do basic things like food prep (especially when it's hot or cold or raining outside), dish washing, etc.  Why not just a simple small sink there?  Yeah, there's a sink in the bathroom, but that's not the same.  I wonder if you could add a kitchen sink.  Too bad. And yes, I get that it's hard to please everyone.

Also-- looking at the CS vs. the S, the CS looks like it's at least a couple feet longer.  Weight will probably be up, but more of it moving to the back- perhaps.

The 'CS was never for everyone. It was a camping trailer for people that spent most of their time outdoors. I'm glad NuCamp is addressing their root population.

The pass through cabinets are gone. They were a great feature. The axle is farther back than the non-CS for balance. Unfortunately, they moved the outlet closer to the door rather than closer to the kitchen where it would be more useful. In the 'CS, you live behind the trailer, not beside the trailer. The outside Lagun table mount is missing. That was very handy on the old 'CS. It does look at least a foot longer.

Little Guy went under and the Bushwacker falls apart in a year. They have little competition right now. It should sell okay.

@Mickerly Yeah- we are definitely folks who want to spend most of our time outdoors-- especially when it comes to cooking.  With that said, just being able to rinse off an apple, or rinse out a coffee cup, or do a bit of prep work on that counter, means going around back to the sink (or using the bathroom sink, or having a bowl of water).  And YES, it also know that the 320 CS did not have a sink in that spot either.

Those pass through cabinets would have been nice as well.

And the extra length and equipment are certainly going to make this heavier.  I imagine it will be at least as heavy as the 400 (he regular 360 was almost as heavy as the 400 already).  As someone said above, it might have made more sense to just offer a few versions of the 400 (like one with twin beds) instead of a 360 that's almost the same size and weight.

I wish Nucamp would just pull me into a Zoom call during the design phase of these things...haha.

With new model pricing as high as they are, the Tab that we have now is the last NuCamp we'll own. Luckily it is well-built and the configuration suits the varying ways that we camp.

I'm glad they're for now still keeping the giant fridge. It keeps me from seriously considering a new T@B. The split beds are the main reason to look at the 360 for us.

@Slackers Yeah- even if this ends up checking all the feature boxes, the 40K-ish price tag probably puts this out of contention for us and many folks (for a new one anyway).  And I'm assuming the CS will be more than the 360.

I love about 99% of the 360 CS-S features. I love the twin beds, the dedicated seating, (as a solo camper) and the kitchen out back. The big fridge inside is fine since they did add the pull-out cooler/freezer out back. I wish the microwave was still in the outside kitchen OR a sink in the front counter. I actually also wish it had a black tank instead of the cassette. (As a full hookup campsite person) Having said all that, I have a perfectly good 22 320 CS-S that fits in my garage. I'll hang on to it for awhile.

Well, it's definitely heavy, long, and expensive ($49K MSRP)..  (and still no kitchen sink-haha)

If you were able to delete the fridge, you could easily convert that space to a nice little closet for hanging clothes and reduce some tongue weight.

You seem to be confused. The kitchen is at the back and there is a sink.

@Marceline Not confused- just should have been more clear with my wording, like I was in one of my earlier posts up above.  I mentioned that I would like to see a sink inside on the counter next to the fridge.  Here's what I said: "Yeah- we are definitely folks who want to spend most of our time outdoors-- especially when it comes to cooking.  With that said, just being able to rinse off an apple, or rinse out a coffee cup, or do a bit of prep work on that counter, means going around back to the sink (or using the bathroom sink, or having a bowl of water).  And YES, it also know that the 320 CS did not have a sink in that spot either."
