CAN sink hinges. How are they attached?

Does anyone know how the hinges are attached to the stainless steel sink for this type of lid? The hinge covers on the burner side don't seem to pop off readily. I am wondering if the hinges have fixed
studs that are bolted on from the rear of the sink when it is removed? Or perhaps tack welded, which I doubt and hope not. I'll be finding out the hard way soon as I attempt to remove them, but would appreciate any first-hand experience. Thx

Nevermind! They just screw on from the back. Much easier to remove than I might have guessed.
