Replacing the MaxAir fan

I am looking to replacing the original MaxAir fan in my 2017 T@B. I am seeing different depths on some models. Does anyone know what the depth is or recommend a model you personally replaced your fan with? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

This 8-9 minute video will give you a good idea what’s involved. https://youtu.be/oNEshJ9XfmU

I've been thinking about whether the extra features of a maxair fan would be worth the effort. It’s very tempting…

@Davelina79 I did replacement from the factory fan to a MaxAir. Depth is more or less the same. What you're getting with MaxAir is a thick plastic cover, which goes inside of the trailer. It needs to be trimmed to your (and Tab's) liking. AFAIR I cut it about 1/3 deep. It sits nicely flushed, no issues, and nothing causes problems.
Minor thing, connected with my model of MaxAir: it has a knob to open/close the lid which I recently hit it with my head (5'10"). It's the only thing.

Overall, I'm really happy with the replacement, and I'm glad I did it. The original fan was loud and squeaky (even thought it's been less than 3 years since we got the Tab).

EDIT: The video posted by @To@TourDeForth is great explanation of "How To". It's more or less the same thing I did by myself too.
