Replacing Air Conditioner

I have tried to search and find an answer, but didn't have any luck.  If anyone knows a thread that addresses this, I'd love to know.  I have a 2018 Tab 400.  My AC does not seem to get cold enough anymore.  I'm thinking it has met its end of life.  Has anyone replaced the under the bench seat unit with a household unit? Is it even possible with the existing duct work. Any advice is greatly appreciated.

Have you tried cleaning the air filter? That might help. I have the same a/c unit in my 2019 and I try to clean it at the start of each season. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Jt1zOte9oZc

As @NorthIsUp noted doing the normal regular maintenance; filter cleaning, connection inspection, exterior vent cleaning could solve your issue.

I don't recall if the model-year2018 has a CoolCat or Air8 (my guess is CoolCat). Both of these are RV Specific units . . . there is no household (window?) replacement . . . both can be purchased to replace the in Rig unit.

HOWEVER, you should consider having a HVAC type of tech review your problem . . . if filter/etc is not the issue another less expensive repair than a full replacement may be possible.
