Replacing the Bushings in the Lagun table

Our table sagged considerably and had excessive play in the mechanism. I ordered new bushings from Lugun
This is the finished Job:

The tools I used:
Preparing the new bushings with a file to bevel the end:

Using the chisel to open the gap and the mallet to drive the bushing in-place 



One was reluctant, so the C-Clamp was used to persuade the last few millimeters - move the chisel down to lower notch first. The channel-locks were used to turn the C-clamp and the flat wrenches were used to distribute the load . Note align the slot in the bushings with the notch in the metal support
