Review: Eureka Ignite Plus 2-burner camp stove

This is my review of the Eureka Ignite Plus 2-burner camp stove.
We initially purchased a Trail Fire multi-purpose propane cooking system, but found it to be too heavy and bulky, plus it was infusing a hint of propane in grilled food. We wanted the ability to use a variety of frying pans, skillets, griddles, and cook pots, so after a lot of research, we chose the Eureka 2-burner camp stove.

Much like our KingCamp awning [https://tab-rv.vanillacommunity.com/discussion/19560/kingcamp-awning-review/p1], the Eureka has become one of our most valued pieces of camping gear. It is easy to use, reliable, versatile, and lightweight. It sips propane, so it is economical, too.

At the time we ordered this stove, there were two versions. This is the larger version, so keep this in mind in your own research.

The lid lifts up and two side panels lock into place, providing a wind barrier and splash guard. The two burners ignite on first-click with a single red ignitor button. The fuel level control knobs provide fine-tuning adjustment of the flame, so fine that you'll need to rotate them a fair bit to really crank up the heat. It will boil water at a reasonable, adequate pace.
The only downside to this amazing stove is both burners are the same size. If Eureka made one burner bigger than the other, that would take the versatility up to 11.

Overall, this stove has been a delight, so much so that we now leave the bulky Trail Fire at home, freeing up a lot of much-needed space in our tow vehicle (a Honda Pilot).

We ordered ours from REI and paid $96 for it in mid-2024. I also purchased an adapter hose that lets me connect it to a standard propane tank instead of the disposable green canisters. We use a small tank with it that is lightweight and provides many days' worth of fuel. In fact, we used this stove to cook two meals a day for four days and only used 0.2 gallons of propane. Wow!

The features of the Eureka are useful yet straightforward. The lid clamps down and there is a built-in handle for carrying. We actually stuff our stove into an old pillow case to protect it from scratches during transport. The four rubber feet underneath are individually height-adjustable so you can fine-tune the leveling once it's on your camp table.

When the lid is closed, it recesses into a slight lip, so that if you accidentally leave your stove in the rain, the water will run off and not penetrate the stove's interior.

We have the same stove (since 2022) and love it! Sadly, Eureka no longer makes camp stoves. We don't have the adapter hose and still use the little green canisters which is so wasteful.
I need to look into that for our upcoming trip.2024 T@B 320S

one_life I believe you can get adapters that let you refill the green canisters from a larger standard propane tank, but I'm not certain of it.

Just an idea but from what I can see in your pictures it looks like you could remove the regulator from the stove and with a few dollars in parts you could plug it directly into the low pressure propane connector on your Tab trailer.
If the regulator can be unscrewed from the burner tube it’s probably a 1/8 inch pipe thread, in that case all you would need is:
A thread adapter: https://www.lowes.com/pd/B-K-1-4-in-Threaded-Male-Adapter-Bushing-Fitting/1000505519?idProductFound=false&idExtracted=true
A plug: https://www.lowes.com/pd/Kobalt-Brass-NPT-Plug-F-1-4-in-Industrial/50126445
plumbers tape: https://www.lowes.com/pd/Oatey-0-6-in-x-21-ft-Plumber-s-Tape/4751309
and a Hose like this: https://www.amazon.com/DOZYANT-Pressure-Quick-Connect-Disconnect-Extension/dp/B06XK43NL3/ref=pd_bxgy_d_sccl_1/141-1798083-9923856?pd_rd_w=1jYl2&content-id=amzn1.sym.de9a1315-b9df-4c24-863c-7afcb2e4cc0a&pf_rd_p=de9a1315-b9df-4c24-863c-7afcb2e4cc0a&pf_rd_r=2F09CT19Z5CXNA1JA2A7&pd_rd_wg=MAYi3&pd_rd_r=f9caedce-c4e2-48fe-86e1-09dd7e629fca&pd_rd_i=B06XK43NL3&th=1
incase your trailer doesn’t put out the right pressure you can just put it back the way it was. You can also put a quick disconnect on the original regulator and use it as designed when you don’t want to plug into your trailer.2023 T@B 320s Boondock, 2013 Toyota Tacoma TRD 4x4 2016 Toyota Tundra 1794 4x4

I previously connected my camp stoves to my trailer's propane tank. I installed a splitter for that purpose. I like the flexibility of using a separate, smaller propane tank so I can place my cook stove anywhere I want without it being tethered to the trailer.2024 T@B 320S Boondock.
