This is my review of the Eureka Ignite Plus 2-burner camp stove.
We initially purchased a Trail Fire multi-purpose propane cooking system, but found it to be too heavy and bulky, plus it was infusing a hint of propane in grilled food. We wanted the ability to use a variety of frying pans, skillets, griddles, and cook pots, so after a lot of research, we chose the Eureka 2-burner camp stove.
Much like our KingCamp awning [

the Eureka has become one of our most valued pieces of camping gear. It is easy to use, reliable, versatile, and lightweight. It sips propane, so it is economical, too.
We ordered ours from REI and paid $96 for it in mid-2024. I also purchased an adapter hose that lets me connect it to a standard propane tank instead of the disposable green canisters. We use a small tank with it that is lightweight and provides many days' worth of fuel. In fact, we used this stove to cook two meals a day for four days and only used 0.2 gallons of propane. Wow!
At the time we ordered this stove, there were two versions. This is the larger version, so keep this in mind in your own research.
The features of the Eureka are useful yet straightforward. The lid clamps down and there is a built-in handle for carrying. We actually stuff our stove into an old pillow case to protect it from scratches during transport. The four rubber feet underneath are individually height-adjustable so you can fine-tune the leveling once it's on your camp table.
The lid lifts up and two side panels lock into place, providing a wind barrier and splash guard. The two burners ignite on first-click with a single red ignitor button. The fuel level control knobs provide fine-tuning adjustment of the flame, so fine that you'll need to rotate them a fair bit to really crank up the heat. It will boil water at a reasonable, adequate pace.
The only downside to this amazing stove is both burners are the same size. If Eureka made one burner bigger than the other, that would take the versatility up to 11.
When the lid is closed, it recesses into a slight lip, so that if you accidentally leave your stove in the rain, the water will run off and not penetrate the stove's interior.
Overall, this stove has been a delight, so much so that we now leave the bulky Trail Fire at home, freeing up a lot of much-needed space in our tow vehicle (a Honda Pilot).
