Added an idiot light to the pump circuit.
It lights up when the Idiot (me) leaves the pump on at a rest stop. That has happened too often.
Very bright red LED, visible in my right side view mirror on a bright sunny day.
Has to be wired from pump, as neither of the three-way switches carry the whole circuit. I checked.
Nucamp left zero slack in pump wires if you had to swap out pump. There are four or five T-taps in pump wire already.
Wire routing:
1. pump to passenger wheel compoartment, under bed.
2. up to See-Level area woodwork, via 3/4" flex cable housing I use for various circuits and Victron battery monitor.
3. Then laterally in woodwork forward to front.
4. Drilled black plastic escutcheon at outside passenger D-handle, this proved visible in truck side mirror. Wire drops 6" behind plastic.
5. Friction-fit round LED and sealed openings with polysulfate caulk.
