Pahaque visor for T@B 320

I want to add telescoping tent poles to the outer edge of the visor for stability. I thought of adding metal grommets for the end of the pole to go through, but think there should be some reinforcement there. Pahaque said that adding an iron on patch would melt the fabric. Has anyone added grommets before? How did you do it?
Thanks,
Brian

Hello, I made a visor for our t@B400. We do use a pole and I reinforced the holes just with 2 more layers of ripstop nylon that I made it from. Then sewed the hole edge like a big button hole. Works great without having to add metal. To add grommets, you would need to get a grommet tool for the size grommet you want. I have gotten such things at fabric stores like Joann's in the past. Would suggest checking at Sailrite online.2023 T@B 400 Boondock
