2018 Tab CS-S, need ideas on kitchen cabinet strut replacement pls

It has been far too long, and Holly and I spent a good part of the day cleaning our Tabbie out, new tires purchased, and deep clean for a trip next couple of weeks.  The strut on the pass through cabinet, plastic and amazon purchased, failed yet again.  Anyone have a new product, or strut other than that one on Amazon that looks like the replacement.  Has Nucamp improved on the strut.  Sorry but we have not traveled in the Tab in a few years, but ready to get back out there.
