Parts for Alde System

Hello Everyone,

I have a new to me 2018 Cirrus 920... I know it's not a TAB but the issue I have will be the same.

I have the Alde bulge issue. It's not leaking yet but I want to replace most of the system. I have read through the form here and watched the YouTube video explaining the problem. My question is for those of you that have had this problem and tackled it yourself what parts did you use?  I am going to need EPDM hose, EPDM 90 degree hose sections, and new connectors throughout (I would just like to get rid of the aluminum ones).

There is a company in the U.K. that will ship to me but I doubt that will be cheap. Silicon tubing is easy to find but I don't know if that will hold up to the glycol solution used in the Alde system. Dishwasher hose is actually EPDM, the right size and easy to find (for straight sections) but also don't know if that will hold up.

I would like to do this right (without paying a dealer) so I don't have to worry about this again.

Thank you for the help!

Do a search for "Corrosion of Alde Convectors", then make a big lunch because it will take you awhile to plow through it but it is chocked full of issues and solutions and discussions of where do I find parts and a hundred other related topics.
When I rebuilt my 2015 Alde system I was somehow able to purchase everything I needed from Truma/Alde U.S.

Feel free to shoot any questions you might have.  You will also come across some other folks in that long thread who have a lot more smarts than I have and I'm sure they will also be willing to help any way they can.

Thanks I read through that whole forum. I think I have found EPDM straight hose but finding 90 degree sections and new couplings is a bit of a pain...Do you have any idea if silicon pipe will work? There seems to be a lot more of that in the U.S....I have some more calls in to some suppliers and a UK based company says that they will ship the parts to me...Trying to line everything up for a weekend this fall to take care of it.
