Backup camera zoom lens

Hello all,
I got a new wireless backup camera for my Tab and it works quite well with one exception. And that is for anything beyond about 20 feet behind me, it makes things look like they are a mile away. So cars way to close for me to make a lane change are almost not even visible. I think it is ok for backing into a tight parking spot but otherwise, this thing is a major accident waiting to happen. So I was wondering if there is a small zoom lens that I can attach/glue to it to get a more close-up view. Kinda like those lenses you can attach to an iphone for wide angle and macro.  Has anybody found something like this before??
